Zipic is built and supported by an independent developer — you always talk to the person who writes the code.

Zipic is developed by okooo5km (十里) and published by 5KM Tech, LLC. There is no ticketing portal and no outsourced help desk: every message below lands in the same inbox the developer reads every day. Pick the channel that fits your question.

Email support

The fastest way to get help is email: support@5km.tech. We typically respond within 24 hours; during weekends and public holidays it can take up to two business days. Replies come in English or Chinese — write in whichever you prefer.

To help us solve a problem in one round-trip, please include:

• Your Zipic version (menu bar icon → About Zipic) and macOS version.
• Whether you installed from the Mac App Store or the direct DMG download.
• The steps that trigger the issue and, if you can share it, a sample image that reproduces it.
• For license questions, the email address used at checkout and the order number.
• If your question is about the Raycast extension, Apple Shortcuts, or the zipic command-line tool, say which one and paste the exact command or error message you saw.

Live chat on this website

The Feedback link in the footer opens a chat window powered by our own self-hosted support inbox. Messages sent there go to the same team as email, so use whichever is more convenient. If you leave the page before we answer, we will follow up by email when you provide an address.

Licenses, refunds and billing

Pro licenses are a one-time purchase with lifetime updates. If your license key has not arrived within a few minutes of payment, check your spam folder first, then email us with the address used at checkout and we will resend it. Refunds follow our Refund Policy; students and educators can apply for the Education Discount. For team or volume licensing beyond the listed plans, email us with the number of seats you need.

Bug reports and feature requests

Bug reports are welcome at any of the channels above. For feature ideas, check the Roadmap to see what is already planned and the Release Notes for what recently shipped, then send your request by email — we read every one, and several Zipic features started as user suggestions.

Business, press and partnerships

Affiliate partners can join the Affiliate Program. Press inquiries, bundle or reseller proposals, and any other business matters: email support@5km.tech with “Business” in the subject line.

Many questions are answered in the FAQ and the documentation — including supported formats, system requirements, and how local processing keeps your images on your Mac. A quick look there may save you the wait, and it helps us keep reply times short for everyone.
