- Onboarding clarity: the “Purchase” button is now hidden for already‑activated users to reduce confusion.
- More resilient component downloads: automatically switches to a backup source on failure and clearly labels the current source; hides “Install All” when not applicable to keep the UI tidy.

- When the Dock icon is hidden, the menu bar icon no longer gets disabled.
